Inbound visitor arrivals in Turkey 2008-2023

The total number of inbound visitors to Turkey - including international visitors and Turkish citizens residing abroad - increased to 30 million in 2021 over the previous year, following a sharp drop to 16 million visitors in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2023, inbound travelers totaled roughly 56.7 million, which was the peak value recorded under the observed period.
